Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This policy explains how HerdHalo, operated by Care3 Labs Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) work in comparable ways. They help a site work, remember your choices, and understand how it is used.

How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, to measure how it is used, and — where you consent — to show you relevant advertising. We group them into the categories below.

The cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work properly and to remember your cookie choices. These are always on and do not require consent.
  • Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless and privacy-friendly) and Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and is only used where you consent.
  • Advertising and remarketing. Where you consent, we use Google Ads cookies and pixels to show you HerdHalo adverts on other sites and to measure their performance. These are only set after you accept advertising cookies.

The cookies below are the ones we currently use. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept them. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies, and your cookie choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (herdhalo-consent), not a cookie.

Third parties such as Google may set additional cookies on their own domains under their own policies. We will keep this list up to date as our tools change.

Your consent

When you first visit, we ask for your consent through a cookie banner where you can accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Analytics and advertising & remarketing cookies are controlled separately and are only set after you accept that category, using Google Consent Mode. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that already took place.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings — including blocking or deleting them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. Guidance for common browsers is available from their help pages, and general advice is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
